THE HISTORY OF STREET IS NEAT
Back in the
mid seventies, Tim got a lot of hand's on
experience working
on his own bike, a '78 HD SuperGlide. Before long Tim was working on the
bikes of friends from the surrounding area. Word of mouth advertising spread
the word that Tim's work was on par with anyone else's.
In '84 the shop area of the former Mobil gas station in Oslo
became
available, Tim wasted no time in moving in, as it had ample shop area.
The building went through many owners, with Tim occupying the
shop.
In 94, Tim purchased the building, remodeling the whole building
Street is Neat also became an authorized Lehman Trikes Dealer.
Business steadily grew, requiring hiring a fulltime mechanic
in 1999.
Also requiring the addition of a showroom/ Parts Dept. in the same year.
In 2002, Jason came onboard as General Manager of Customer
Relations.
Along with keeping the parts inventory in control, he's the man to talk to
about those accessories you need for your bike.
In late 2003, With help from Jason, Tim decided it was time to
join the
Internet Bandwagon, and develop a web page for STREET IS NEAT.
